AGITATOR FOR SHIELD MACHINE AND MUD ADDING AGENT DELIVERY DEVICE FOR SHIELD MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart fluidity and water hardimpermeability to mud over the whole range in a chamber by expandably/contractibly constituting an agitating rod of an agitator in the radial direction to the axis of a shield tunnel. SOLUTION: A front end part of this shielding boring machine 1 is provided with a cutter disc 6, and a cutter spoke 6b of the cutter disc 6 is provided with the agitator 30 for agitating mud in the chamber 10. The agitating rod 34 of the agitator 30 is expandably/contracibly constituted in the radial direction to the axis of a shielding tunnel. Thus, when excavating a tunnel having a deformed cross section different from a circular cross section, since fluidity and water hardimpermeability of the mud are improved by agitating the mud of the whole range in the chamber 10 by properly extending/contracting the agitating rod 34 of the agitator 30 along a deformed cross-sectional shape, this mud can be smoothly and surely transferred and discharged to earth removing equipment from the chamber 10.
