PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape reel, which is lightweight, is easily discarded or reutilized, and can be easily manufactured with a simple and inexpensive device in a short time, by integrally fusing side plates and a core on the inner peripheral edges of a series of fused holes fused and formed from the outer face side of the side plates toward the core at lap sections. SOLUTION: A core 11 and side plates 21 have a series of fused holes 31 fused and formed from the outer face side of the plates 21 toward the core 11 at lap sections 28 where the core 11 and side plates 21 are overlapped. The side plates 21 and core 11 are integrally fused on the inner peripheral edges 31a of the fused holes 31. The fused holes 31 are formed by pressing-in heated rods from the outer faces of the side plates 21 toward the core 11 then extracting them, the heated rods are moved to form the fused holes 31 while fusing the side plates 21 and core 11, thereby the side plates 21 and core 11 are integrally fused near the boundary on the inner peripheral edges 31a of the fused holes 31.
