PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the pre-rotation of a press roller at a stable precise rotational speed by means of a comparatively simple constitution without giving burdens to a master, a printing paper and a plate cylinder. SOLUTION: This printing equipment has a plate cylinder 1a, around which a processed master is wound, a press roller 9a for pressing the processed master wound around the plate cylinder 1a against a matter to be printed, a press roller displacing means, which is displaced between the printingly pressing position of the press roller 9a and its stand-by position, and a press roller driving means 70a for rotatingly driving the press roller 9a in the same direction as the rotating direction of the plate cylinder 1a at printing at the position opposite to the plate cylinder 1a.
