PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent action of illicitly adding credits in a game machine for fetching game balls as the credits. SOLUTION: When a controller 40 turns an output port 40a to a high level and turns the output port 40b to the low level, a DC motor 58 is normally rotated. Only when the output port 40a is at the high level and a light receiving element 84b is off (detects the game ball), the output level of an AND circuit AND becomes high and the controller 40 inputs it as a detection signal of the light receiving element 84b. When the light receiving element 84b detects the game ball while a game ball fetching device fetches the game ball, the detection signal is inputted to the controller 40, however, in other cases, the detection signal of the light receiving element 84b is not inputted to the controller 40 even when light from a light emitting element 84a to the light receiving element 84b is interrupted.
