PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine quickly, and easily the cleanability of a sanitary ware by making false filth adhere to a part such as a bowl or the like of the sanitary ware and determining cleanability on the basis of remainders and adhesion and/or rinsability when washed, when necessary. SOLUTION: When a sanitary ware to be evaluated is a washbowl, a watercolor is used as false filth. Firstly the watercolor is diluted and the diluted solution is applied to the washbowl by a brush or the like. A remainder of the watercolor after water is flowed from a water faucet device is observed visually or the like for evaluation. A lipstick is used for false filth. Firstly, the lipstick is applied to the washbowl and the remainder of the lipstick after it is wiped with tissue paper is observed visually or the like for evaluation.
