PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of efficiently and smoothly sucking air and reducing noise with simple constitution. SOLUTION: An inducer part 25 is attached to the rear side of a partition wall 11 provided with a communication hole 10 in a grid shape provided inside a main body case 2 and a dust collecting chamber 13, a straightening chamber 39 and a motor-driven blower chamber 15 are sectioned. For the inducer part 25, a distribution hole 26 is opened and an almost cylindrical supporting rib part 31 is projectingly provided with the distribution hole 26 as a center on a surface on the opposite side of the spread open side of a baffle plate part spread open in a trumpet shape to one surface side. A supporting body 47 attached to the fan cover 42 of a motor-driven blower 14 is airtightly abutted to the supporting rib part 31 of the inducer part 25 and the shaft direction of the motor-driven blower 14 is positioned. The distribution hole 26 and the intake port of the motor-driven blower 14 are made to face each other through a clearance. Vibration generated by the drive of the motor-driven blower 14 is not directly propagated to the baffle plate part of the inducer part 25 and the noise by the vibration is reduced.
