PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a headrest from folding rearward by an amount that is more than necessary by fully regulating the rearwardly folding angle of the headrest, while keeping it in a lightweight, inexpensive and compact form. SOLUTION: A hollow headrest frame 2 is swingably assembled to a horizontal shaft part 12 leading to the top of the vertical shaft part 11 of a headrest pillar 1. In that case, the horizontal shaft part 12 of the headrest pillar 1 is provided with a headrest stopper 7 which regulates the rearwardly folding angle of the headrest frame 2 by interfering with the inside of the hollow part 21 of the headrest frame 2. The headrest stopper 7 has a vertical shaft part 71 extending upward from the horizontal shaft part 12 of the headrest pillar 1 and a horizontal shaft part 72 extending laterally from the top of the vertical shaft part 71. The headrest frame 2 is regulated to an approximately vertical angle by interference with the headrest stopper 7.
