PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an excellent corrosionproofness without using a heavy metal by using a curable resin composition for primer containing a nonconductive thermoplastic polymer having ionic groups, a conductive polymer, and an inorganic oxide. SOLUTION: Acrylic resins, epoxy resins, and polyester resins are preferable as a nonconductive thermoplastic resin; for example, a polyester resin which is obtained by the esterification of a sulfonic acid and/or a dicarboxylic acid containing a metal phosphate group with a glycol and has a glass transition point of 0-80 deg.C, a reduced viscosity of 0.3-0.7 dl/g, and a number average mol.wt. of 5,000-25,000 is used. The curable resin composition for primer is prepared by mixing the nonconductive thermoplastic resin with a curing agent (e.g. an epoxy resin or an acid-modified epoxy resin) in a ratio of (90:10)-(80:20), mixing the mixture with a conductive polymer (e.g. an acetylene polymer) in a ratio of (70:30)-(99:1), and dissolving or dispersing the resultant mixture in an organic solvent. The composition is useful in application s such as electric home appliances, building materials, etc. where corrosionproofnss is strongly required.
