PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a hair dye composition capable of giving an aerosol one pack type hair dye composition with excellent temporal stability. SOLUTION: The aerosol one pack type oxidation hair dye composition is produced by dissolving a substance oxidized and an oxidation enzyme into water, filling an aerosol vessel with the resultant solution and then filling this aerosol vessel with an aerosol propellant. In this case, it is characterized by the process that the inner wall of a head space part in the aerosol vessel is wetted with the solution during or after filling the aerosol vessel with the aerosol propellant.
