<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent positional shift in theθdirection when a print head has an angular error without increasing the processing amount of a print head controller or the transmission amount of data. SOLUTION: Two strobe signals (STROBE1, STROBE2) and a plurality of strobe select circuits 50 are provided. The two strobe signals have a phase difference 1/2t equal to one half of head line period t. The strobe select circuit 50 (50a, 50b) is provided for every four NAND gates 47 and selects any one of two strobe signals. Since print results by STROBE1, STROBE2 are shifted by one half of head line pitch d, level difference is suppressed in the print results.</p> |
