PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display apparatus is provided to drive pixel at failure of a gate line by dividing into dual gate lines in the liquid crystal display, and to improve the yield rate by increasing redundancy with triangular arrangement of pixels. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display is composed of plural data lines(D31-D36) arranged at regular intervals; plural gate lines(G31-G36) crossed over data lines, and divided into two gate lines; R,G,B dots(RD,GD,BD) divided into plural sub dots according to a couple of gate lines, and arranged in plural pixel ranges formed by data lines and gate lines; and switching units for driving R,G,B dots arranged in the pixel partition ranges according to sub dots, and connected to data lines and gate lines. The oblique graphic is displayed, and the color display is improved with forming the triangular arrangement by dividing the dot into two sub dots. The yield rate is increased with driving pixel by the other gate lines sequentially in failure of the gate line with the double gate line structure.
