PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for collecting, without occurrence of center mark and/or cross bars, a circular knitted fabric produced at the knitted fabric making section of a circular knitting machine. SOLUTION: This method for collecting a circular knitted fabric 1 produced at the knitted fabric making section of a circular knitting machine, while nipping the fabric 1 with a pair of nip rollers 2, comprises setting the 25% compressive deformation load on the surface of at least one of these nip rollers 2 at 0.02-0.03 kg/cm2.
