摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain polymer/pigment composite particles excellent in storage stability by mixing an aqueous medium dispersion of pigment particles with an aqueous medium dispersion of polymer particles made from an unsaturation- terminated oligomer to effect the adsorption of the polymer particles on the pigment particles. SOLUTION: Pigment particles are dispersed in a first aqueous medium. A dispersion is prepared by dispersing in a second aqueous medium polymer particles made from at least 0.05-20 wt.%, based on the weight of the polymer particles, unsaturation-terminated oligomer represented by formula I (wherein N is an ethylenically unsaturated monomer residue represented by formula II; M is an ethylenically unsaturated acrylic or vinyl monomer residue other than N; (m) is 0-35; (n) is 1-70; m+n=1-70; X and Y are each H, NH4, an alkali metal or an alkaline earth metal; Q is H or COOX; and Z is H or CH3). The first dispersion is mixed with the second dispersion, whereupon the polymer particles are adsorbed by the pigment particles to obtain a polymer/pigment composite particles dispersion.
