PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a tool conveying time and reduce a cost by dispensing with a drive source. SOLUTION: This tool conveying device is constituted such that a tool magazine to contain and hold a number of tools is disposed on the side of a main spindle 6, on which a tool T is mounted, in a manner that the tool points to the right angled direction relative to the axis of the main spindle 6, a conveying pot 23 moved and driven by a horizontal movement unit 21 and vertical movement unit 22 is disposed on the main spindle 6 side. A subsequent process tool T1 contained in a tool magazine 10 is taken out by the conveying pot 23 and horizontally conveyed to a stroke end position P2, and the subsequent process tool T1 is inclined in a rolling state to a tool change position P1 paralleling the axis of the main spindle 6. In this case, a tool inclining rolling means, such as a cam member 38 to be inclined in a rolling state and an inclining rolling cam member 39, is provided so as to cause the subsequent process tool T1 to incline in a rolling state to a tool change position P1 through horizontal movement of a horizontal movement unit 21 to a stroke end position P2. |
