PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet printing head relatively easy in the formation of the partition wall or drive electrode constituting the head, reduced in the generation of heat in the continuous driving of the head, reduced in power consumption and enabling high speed printing. SOLUTION: An ink jet printing head is constituted of a flow channel member 3 wherein partition walls 1 are formed on a bottom plate 11 by bonding wall members 13 to a plurality of the protruded walls 12 parallelly provided on the bottom plate and the gaps between the partition walls 1 are set to ink flow channels 2, the drive electrodes 9 integrally applied to the side surfaces of the partition walls 1 forming the flow channels 2 and the bottom plate 11 and the top plate 7 bonded to the top surfaces of the partition walls 1 to cover the flow channels 2. In this case, the wall members 13 are formed from piezoelectric ceramics subjected to polarization treatment based on either one of lead zirconate titanate, lead lanthanum titanate zirconate and lead magnesium niobate and the protruded walls 12 and the bottom plate 11 are formed from insulating ceramics based on either one of forsterite, steatire and zircon.
