PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize excellent achromatism and preservability in a dark place by containing a pigment for a specified light-achromatic material and a specified compound as an additive. SOLUTION: This light-achromatic material is obtained by containing a pigment for a light-achromatic material represented by formula I and least one of compounds represented by formulas II and III (wherein Z is an atomic group required for a 5-membered aromatic heterocyclic formation; R is a substitutable group on an aromatic heterocycle; (m) is 0 to 3; CP is a group to totally form a chromophoric group by binding the aromatic heterocycle through a methylene group; R11 is H, a hydroxyl group, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, a heterocyclic group or the like; Z11 and Z12 are each a 1-3C alkylene group; R12 is a substitutable group on Z11 and Z12; n11 is 0 to 4; X11 is -CR16R17-, -NR18-, -O-, -S- or the like; R16 and R17 are each H or -OCOR20; R20 is an alkyl group, an alkyl group or the like; R18 is H, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group or the like; R12 is H, an alkyl group, an acyl group or a trialkylsilyl group; and R22 to R26 are each H, an alkyl group, an alkyoxy group, an aryl group, an aryloxy group or the like).
