摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize contact and sliding friction between a recording medium and a medium receiver in receiving the printed and discharged recording medium by the medium receiver. SOLUTION: This printer is provided with a first feed path 1 for feeding a first recording medium 10; a second feed path 2 for feeding a second recording medium 20 thicker than the first recording medium 10; a printing part 3 for printing the recording media fed from the first feed path 1 and second feed path 2; a discharge part 4 for discharging the recording media printed by the printing part 3; and a medium receiver 5 for receiving the discharged recording media. The medium receiver 5 is provided with a guide roller 51 rotatably supported by a guide roller shaft 52 in a position where the tip part of the recording medium slides in contact. Frictional load is therefore reduced when the recording medium is discharged, so that the feed of the recording medium is stabilized to prevent the degradation of print quality.
