PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To slide sliding doors used in air passage opening and closing devices smoothly in a low-temperature environment. SOLUTION: A sliding door 30 slidable across an air passage opening has guide pins 30a at the ends of opposite sides in a direction perpendicular to the sliding direction. A case 12a holds on the internal wall surface guide grooves 12b extending parallel in the sliding direction and having a U-shaped form with a down slanting lower flange surface. A fit between the guide pins 30a and the guide grooves 12b holds the door 30 slidable in the case 12a. Even on an intrusion of water or the like into the guide grooves 12b, the down slanting lower flange surfaces of the guide grooves 12b help the water drop out of the guide grooves 12b, and point contact between the guide pins 30a and the guide grooves 12b keeps the water less liable to stay about the contact areas, which thus prevents malfunctions of the sliding door 30 by icing in a low-temperature environment.
