PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite foamed molding which is composed of foamed particles of a polystyrene resin or a polyolefin resin such as polyethylene and an epoxy resin or the like which is highly miscible with the described resins and is lightweight and of a high mechanical strength as well as a method for stably manufacturing the composite foamed molding. SOLUTION: The composite foamed molding is composed of numerous foamed particles, consisting of a polystyrene resin or a polyolefin resin, which is bonded with an epoxy resin cured product. The foamable particles made up of the polystyrene resin or the polyolefin resin and an epoxy resin composition which shows a viscosity of 100-100,000 cps at a temperature 20 deg. lower than the foaming temperature of the foamable particles and is thermally cured at the foaming temperature of the foamble particles, are mixed in such a state that the viscosity of an epoxy resin durable composition is 100-100,000 cps. This mixture raw material composition is heated to a foaming temperature in a mold and the epoxy resin thermally curable composition is cured while the foamable particles are made to foam.
