PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely place a baby who becomes able to stand and to walk along against a wall in a baby bed within a surrounding frame and to put required articles in a storing part below a baby floor member and to take them out from the storing part by changing the depth of the baby bed from the top end of the surrounding frame to the baby floor member. SOLUTION: In this baby bed 1, the front frame 5 has a height dimension H which is longer than a half of the height dimension h of the front side vertical frame members 8 and 9 of the left and right side frames 3 and 4 and is shorter than the height dimension h of the front side vertical frame members 8 and 9 and at least a half of the up and down direction of the front face side of the surrounding frame 6 can be covered by this front frame 5. In addition, a bed floor member 7 can be selectively fitted at an intermediate position of the surrounding frame 6 or at a position being lower than the intermediate position thereof. Below the bed floor member 7 fitted to the surrounding frame 6, a storing part 13 from which required articles can be always put in or taken out is provided.
