PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manhours required for respective processes of the designing, the printing and the cutting of a label by designing the label by a personal computer, printing the label drawing by a printer based on the label drawing data, and applying cut lines on the printed label drawing by a cutting plotter. SOLUTION: An optional label is designed on the screen of a personal computer 1 by using a picture drawing software, character font data, and color data, by a keyboard and a mouse 6 or the like. In addition, for a location corresponding with a place wherein a cut line is applied, the color of the line segment and the kind of the line segment or the like are changed on the screen. Then, the label drawing data is transmitted from the computer 1 to a printer 2, and is output as a printed label drawing. Then, the printed label drawing is set on a cutting plotter 3, and then, the location wherein the cut line is applied to the label drawing, is transmitted from the computer 1 to the cutting plotter 3, and the cut line is applied to the designated location by the cutting plotter 3. |
