PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply replace an end-section cushioning tool for a guard pipe made of a resin having a lifetime shorter than the durability of a guard pipe body in a short cycle in simple structure, to install the cushioning tool even to an existing guard pipe, to utilize a recycling material and recycle itself, and to improve the safety of the end section of the guard pipe by preventing a contact and a collision with the end section of the guard pipe during the night. SOLUTION: The cushioning body 1 having a plurality of inserting holes 11 having an inside diameter slightly larger than the outside diameter of a plurality of cross beams 21 and being composed of a single material is fitted at the end sections 211 of the cross beams projected from a support 22 supporting the guard pipe 2, and a reflecting body 3 having reflective ability is mounted on the side face of the cushioning tool as the final section of the guard pipe.
