PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily maintain the quality of a film wound onto a winding core. SOLUTION: In winding a successively fed film 1 in multiple layers around a rotatory-driven winding core 3 to obtain a wound body 2, the film 1 is wound while being cooled to ordinary temperature or lower near the wound-in end part 1a of the film 1 to the winding core 3 side. In such a film winding method, the film 1 is wound in the contracted state corresponding to the ordinary temperature or lower, so that the film wound body 2 is maintained in the tightened state obtained when wound, during storage under ordinary temperature or placed in a side looser state than the state obtained when wound. Tightening in the wound state at least during storage is therefore prevented positively, and the whole film 1 wound into the film wound body 2 can be used as a product.
