PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrugated fiberboard packaging member for a dot- matrix printer having a cushion frame which is simple to fold and can be easily assembled while high cushioning effect can be exhibited against impacts from upper, lower, left, right and side faces and the member is formed in a three- dimensional form corresponding to a form of a dot-matrix printer. SOLUTION: The corrugated fiberboard packaging member for a dot-matrix printer comprises a pair of cushion frames which are respectively fitted over both right and left ends of a dot-matrix printer P in a normally placed posture and an outer case receiving them. One of the pair of cushion frames is a left cushion frame 4, and the other is a right cushion frame 5. Peripheries of bases 20, 90 with which side faces of the printer P are in contact are surrounded by an upper frame 7, a lower frame 8, a front frame 9 and a rear frame 10, which are formed by rolling a corrugated fiberboard member in like a parallelopiped. The member also comprises a frame main unit, a front frame unit and a rear frame unit to form a fitting recess 11 corresponding to a form of a side face of the printer on a side of the printer P and to form a cushioning recess 12 having a constant frame height on a side of an internal surface.
