PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heighten the uniformity for the radiation does of depth of body direction that is added together all over the irradiation area. SOLUTION: A particle beam treatment device has a mechanism, which changes the energy of particle beam into multiple, and a ridge filter 11, which is for extending the Bragg peak at the dose distribution of particle beam that is formed in the depth direction in the body against each energy. For the particle beam treatment device, the shape function of each rod, which consists the ridge filter 11, has an inflection point from the minimum of thickness position to the maximum position and has the small ridge filter 11 that has the distance that is from the maximum position to the inflection point is smaller that the distance that is from the minimum position of the thickness to the inflection point.
