PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure sealing performance of an abutting part by constituting a reservoir formed by blocking up a tunnel-like groove extending to a storage chamber from an intermediate part by a cover-like member via a seal member by forming a communicating passage in a reservoir body part. SOLUTION: The reservoir body part 11 is connected to one end intermediate part 15, and the communicating passage 16 is arranged so that the other end 16b extends toward the vehicle rear side. When introducing brake fluid to the storage chamber 12, a reservoir cap 18 is removed from the reservoir body part 11, and the brake fluid is introduced to the storage chamber 12 from a lubricating operating part 13 and a communicating hole 14. As the brake fluid is introduced to the storage chamber 12, air of an atmospheric part 12b is exhausted outside a master cylinder reservoir from the intermediate part 15, in its turn, the lubricating opening part 13 passing through the communicating passage 16 from an opening part 16b. After introducing the brake fluid by a prescribed quantity, the reservoir cap 18 is installed in the reservoir body part 11. Thus, the communicating passage can be liquidtightly constituted except for the opening part so as not to impair sealing performance.
