PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the calculation of the printing cost of every produced form in a printing controlling device for controlling a printing equipment for printing forms. SOLUTION: In this controlling device, when forms printed with a printing equipment 18 are edited, dots for printing the forms are developed by a CPU 12 so as to calculate the usage of ink used in the printing equipment 18 on the basis of the developed dots in order to calculate the printing cost of the edited forms on the basis of the calculated usage of ink and the unit value of the ink stored in a storage device 13 so as to display the cost on the displaying picture plane of a displaying device 17. In addition, by editing the attributes of respective objects printed on the forms after the displaying of the printing cost, the printing cost can be displayed again.
