PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diazonium heat-sensitive recording material of a new red-magenta-purple color developing type used for providing a magenta coloring material of good hue and provided with superior image light fastness by using a diazonium salt compound to be fixed by the wavelength in the vicinity of 420 nm. SOLUTION: A heat-sensitive recording material is provided with a heat- sensitive recording layer containing a diazonium salt compound and a coupler to develop color by undergoing reaction with the diazonium salt compound at the time of being heated and formed on a substrate, and at least one kind of compounds represented by formula is contained as the coupler. In formula, A represents an aromatic heterocylic group, and B represents a substituent separable when being coupled with the diazonium salt. X represents sulfur atom, oxygen atom or NR1 and Y represents carbon atom, sulfur atom or phosphorus atom, and Z represents oxygen atom of sulfur atom. R represents alkyl, aryl or the like. |
