PURPOSE: Provided is an apparatus for destroying vermin, especially cockroaches by using the behavior of the cockroaches, which entices and captures the cockroaches and prevents the cockroaches from going out, also which is hygienic and permanent. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises: a main body(10) comprising incline planes(11) inclined upward to the inside, a plane(12) formed on the upper part of the incline planes(11), vertical guide walls(13) formed on the incline planes(11) and the plane(12), enticing channels(14) formed between the guide walls(13), a confining chamber(15) formed by sinking the center of the plane(12), and seesaw type doors(16) mounted rotatively between the enticing channels(14) and the confining chamber(15), wherein the bottom of the enticing channels(14) comprises irregularities; an electrothermal plate containing an inserting hole for inserting the projected bottom of the confining chamber(15) and guide projections on which hot wire is wound; a cover containing discharge doors, located on the right upper part of the confining chamber(15), capable of opening and closing and guide walls, located on the right upper part of the seesaw type doors(16), for closing the inner edges of the enticing channels(14).
