PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a work for cutting a formed drilling core by mechanizing a work for forming a connecting hole for mounting an outlet tube and an inlet tube at a manhole, and drilling from an outer surface of a sidewall of the manhole by a core bit. SOLUTION: The apparatus for cutting a drilling core of a manhole comprises a frame 7 having a locking means for fixing to a rim 3 of the manhole 2, a crossing-directionally movable cutting position regulating terminal housing 8 mounted at the frame 7 through a gear mechanism, an oscillatory and vertically movable support shaft mounted in the housing 8 and formed in a pendulum-like state parallel to a cutting surface with the housing 8 as a base point, and a small-sized motor mounted at a lower end of the shaft and having a disc-like rotary drilling blade for cutting an unpenetrated part of the core.
