PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently deodorize and detoxicate the condensed and separated solid particles in food industry waste water or the like by mixing adsorbent with the waste water, bringing the waste water into direct contact with air having a specific temp., evaporating and separating water equal to or above a specific ratio in the waste water and dehydrating the evaporation residual liquid. SOLUTION: The waste water, such as seed rice sterilization waste water 14 is introduced into a waste waster treating vessel 3 from a waste water introducing port 27. A combustion exhaust gas is introduced into an introducing pipe 11 from a discharge port 13 of a combustion device 12, the waste water 14 is heated and introduced into a branched pipe part 9 to be mixed with air to form a gaseous mixture and the gaseous mixture is introduced into a waste water evaporation vessel 2 from an opening part 6 through a gaseous mixture introducing pipe 7. The heated waste water 14 is taken out from a take-out port 24 by a feed pump 25, introduced into a cleaning waste waster spray device 20 from a pipe passages 26 and sprayed from a nozzle 19. In such a case, the waste water is brought into direct contact with the air heated to <=60 deg.C and >=60 wt.% water in the waste water is evaporated and separated.
