PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-travelling stripping and cleaning machine capable of surely performing the stripping and cleaning work for the whole surface to be worked, which contains weld bead in a stack welded part or a butt welded part, and increasing the equipment number of rotary nozzles without making a nozzle head large-sized. SOLUTION: The machine is provided with the nozzle head 3G rotatable around a shaft crossing the bottom surface FL and plural nozzle blocks 3M radially connected to the periphery of the head 3G. In the nozzle head 3G, the rotary nozzle 3A for the weld bead, which is capable of jetting a high pressure fluid at a prescribed angle to the bottom surface FL, is arranged to cross the weld beads B1, B2 of the surface to be worked at right angle. Rotary nozzles 3C, 3D are arranged respectively in each nozzle block 3M.
