<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical body having bulging parts formed by asymmetrically overlaying padding, which is relatively high and rich in solidity, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This cylindrical body, i.e., a fishing rod 1, has a plurality of bulging parts 5 formed on its cylindrical body part, i.e., on the outer surface of the rod tube 3 at specific intervals along the shaft direction S. Each of the bulging parts is formed by asymmetrically overlaying padding along the shaft direction of the rod tube, and it is composed of a protruding part 7 having a specific height H from the outer surface of the rod tube and formed along the peripheral direction of the rod tube, an inclining part 9 formed on one side of the shaft direction from the protruding part as the boarder, and a radius- reducing part 11 having an inclination different from that of the inclining part and formed on the other side from the protruding part as the boarder in terms of the shaft direction.</p> |
