PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach/detach a blade quickly without the assist of the tool of another body. SOLUTION: A blade clamp assembly includes a housing and a clamp lever 80 holding a blade for reciprocating saw. The clamp lever 80 is rotated around a pin 52 in the cavity formed in the housing and includes a main body 82 having a cam surface 87 and handle 84. The handle 84 is extended from the base end of the cam surface formed integrally with the main body 82. A plate is provided between the cam surface of the clamp lever 80 and the floor of the cavity. The cam surface 87 is push-pressed to the plate by a torsion spring 100 and the blade is held by the assembly. The handle 84 is used for restraining the torsion spring 100. |
