PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clay grinder capable of efficiently grinding clay. SOLUTION: A clay grinder is equipped with first rotary cutting blades 10 for cutting clay 5 and the second cutting blades arranged almost under the first cutting blades 10 and rotated in the direction reverse to the rotary direction of the first cutting blades 10 and further cutting the clay 5 cut by the first cutting blades 10. The first and second cutting blades 10, 20 are respectively arranged on the rotary rod members 11, 21 parallelly in the longitudinal direction thereof at an equal interval and many sets of blade materials 12, 22 are fixed to the surfaces of the rod members 11, 21 so as to protrude from the surfaces thereof in such a state that the edges 13, 23 thereof are present on the same straight line to be oriented in a rotary direction and four blade materials forming one set are provided to the rotary shaft of each of the rod members 11, 21 at an equal interval. The blade materials 12, 22 have a sickle shape and the rotary shaft of the second cutting blades 20 is provided just under the rotary shaft of the first cutting blades 10 in parallel.
