PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the fastening efficiency of a building board by fixing a fastening plate to the building board in one body with one part thereof being exposed to the building board and the other part thereof embedded in the same, and making the exposed portion function as a fastening plate portion. SOLUTION: A fastening plate 20 is comprised of a first fastening plate portion 21a which is exposed to a rear surface of a building board and further upward extends from an upper portion 13 of the rear surface, a second fastening plate portion 21b further downward extending from a lower portion 14 of the rear surface, and a connecting member 22 connecting the first and second plate portions 21a, 21b together and having an almost U shape. The fastening plate 20 is fixed to the building board 10 in one body with the first and second fastening plate portions 21a, 21b which are parts thereof being exposed and with the connecting member 22 which is the other part thereof being embedded in the building board 10. In a production process, the building board 10 and the fastening plate 20 are fixed together, and therefore only the first and second fastening plate portions 21a, 21b of the fastening plate 20 are clamped to a backing of the building by means of screws in the construction field, which drastically enhances the workability.
