摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide high mechanical strength and high ion exchange power by heating and forming a mixture of ion exchange resin particles having a means particle diameter of a specified value and thermoplastic resin particles having a mean particle diameter of a specified value or less. SOLUTION: A mean particle diameter of ion exchange resin particles to be used is made to be 200 to 1000 μm, especially preferably 300 to 600 μm. A mean particle diameter of thermoplastic resin particles to be used is made to be 3000 μm or less, more preferably 100 to 1000 μm. A mixture of the ion exchange resin particles and the thermoplastic resin particles is heated and formed. As a method therefor, a method where the ion exchange resin particles and the thermoplastic resin particles are heated and kneaded, and then formed in a sheet form by thermoforming with a plate press, etc., and a method where the thermoplastic resin, a pore-making agent, and the ion exchange resin particles are heated, mixed and molded, and then the pore-making agent is extracted, is preferable from the point of view of forming processability. As the thermoplastic resin particle, polyolefin such as polyethlene and polypropylene is preferably used.
