PRODUCTION OF DEODORIZING LAMINATED SHEET AND THIN- WALLED CONTAINER MOLDED FROM DEODORIZING LAMINATED SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin-walled container such as an egg container or the like having deodorizing action by obtaining a PET film having a deodorant present only on its surface, good in transparency and not losing the deodorant even at a time of heating/molding. SOLUTION: A PET film 7 kneaded with a deodorant is passed through between cooling rollers 4, 5 along with molten PET extruded in a sheet form from a die 3 to be molded to produce a deodorizing laminated sheet. Or, molten PET compounded with a deodorant and molten PET compounded with no deodorant are extruded in a sheet form from two dies arranged in close vicinity to each other and passed through the nip between a pair of the cooling rollers while superposed one upon another to be molded to produce the deodorizing laminated sheet. The deodorizing laminated sheet consisting of the PET layer compounded with the deodorant and the PET layer compounded with no deodorant is heated to softening temp. and subjected to vacuum molding or blow molding to produce a thinwalled container.
