<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water degradable PVA based melt blown non-woven fabric filter exhibiting strong affinity to water such as water solubility, water absorption and water swelling property. SOLUTION: This melt blown non-woven fabric filter is composed of a thermoplastic polyvinyl alcohol, which consists of a polyvinyl alcohol (A) having a viscosity average polymerization degree of 200-500, 90-99.99 mol% saponification number, 66-99.9 mol% molar fraction of center hydroxide group in 3 chain hydroxide by the triad expression to vinyl alcohol unit and 160-230 deg.C m.p. and in which 0.003-1 pts.wt alkali metal ion (B) per 100 pts.wt. of (A) is incorporate.</p> |
