PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently collect the dust by providing a covering member with a brush on the whole circumferential edge of a lower end opposite to a surface to be ground, forming plural grooves on a filing surface of a sander, to be used as a passage of the air current entering the covering member through the brush by the suction by an electric dust collector. SOLUTION: An operating sander 1 is connected to an electric dust collector 10 through a hose 9. The operating sander 1 mainly consists of a flat rectangular sander member 2, a grip part 5 formed on a back surface at an opposite side of a filing surface 2a, and a covering member 6 replaceably mounted on the grip part 5 by means of a screw. The covering member 6 covers the circumference of the sander in a state the file surface 2a is exposed and the grip part 5 is projected from a top part, and is provided with a brush 7 on the whole lower circumferential edge opposite to a surface to be ground. A suction port 8 connected with a hose 9 is formed on an upper part of one end part that is located at a lower part in the filing work by a worker gripping the grip part 5, in the longitudinal direction of the covering member 6. |
