PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a harmful organism controller useful for controlling harmful organisms such as harmful organisms uncontrollable by single use of each component, acarids showing chemical resistance, etc., by making the controller include a substituted aminoquinazolinone (thione) derivative and a compound having insecticidal activity or acaricidal activity. SOLUTION: This controller comprises (A) a compound of the formula [R is H, hydroxyl group, formyl, a 1-12C alkyl or the like; R1 is a 5- to 6-membered (substituted) heterocyclic group; Y is O or S; Z is a group of the formula N=C(R2) (R2 is H, a 1-6C alkyl or the like); X is a halogen, hydroxyl group, nitro or the like; n is 0-4] and (B) a compound selected from the compounds having insecticidal activity or acaricidal activity such as (E)-N-((6-chloro-3- pyridyl)methyl)-N-cyano-N-methylacetamidine, etc. In the controller, the amount of the component B is preferably 0.05-2,000 pts.wt. based on 1 pt.wt. of the component A.
