PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate the wind-up and storage of a hook by using the same switch. SOLUTION: This crane operating device having a hook storing mechanism has a control part, by which a hook wind-up/ wind-down control valve 32 is switched to stop the wind-up operation of the hook when an excessive winding condition is detected during wind-up operation of the hook using a hook wind-up/wind-down selecting switch 21 by an excessive winding detecting switch 12, and a hook storage control valve 35 is switched to perform storage operation of the hook when wind-up operation of the hook is done in the excessive winding condition by the hook wind-up/wind-down selecting switch 21.
