PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light weight circular collecting hood capable of resolving the problem on the circular collecting hood of a powder and grain receiving machine and being mounted on the movable powder and grain receiving machine. SOLUTION: A receiving machine 2 discharges powder and grain 48 from the hold of a ship or the like with the grab bucket 15 of a crane and receives the powder and grain 48 in the grab bucket 15, wherein a circular collecting hood 1 is formed so that a holding frame 14 may be assembled on the upper part of the receiving machine 2, the side of the front surface of the holding frame 14 may be opened as the passing port 16 of the grab bucket 15, a hood body may be mounted on the sides of the right, left and rear of the holding frame 14, the hood body may be mounted on the upper surface of the holding frame 14 while a slit opened at the passing port 16 is formed thereon, a cylinder 22 as an elevating means may be mounted on the right and left ends on the passing port 16, and a shutter 20 may be mounted on the moving part of the right and left cylinders 22 so as to move from the lower to the upper portion.
