PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily pass a shoelace without requiring any special fixing device and to fix the shoelace in a desired position without any slack by forming a slant from the opening to the inside on the inside wall face of a side wall in a grommet and deflecting the center of a grommet opening from the center of a grommet main body. SOLUTION: A grommet 1 is provided with a grommet opening 3 formed in a circular shape, a side wall 4 is provided along the outer edge of the grommet opening 3, and a narrow port part 5 is arranged on the side wall inside face 4a. That is, the narrow port part 5 having the narrowest aperture is formed on the side wall inside face of a grommet main body 2, when the circular grommet opening 3, in which the aperture is narrowed toward the inside from both of the front and back sides and the center is gradually deflected, is formed. Therefore, the thickness of the side wall 4 is gradually increased from both of the front port and the back port of the grommet opening 3 toward the inside. A flange part 6 of the grommet 1 is inserted between a front side formation part 7 forming an upper of a shoe and a back side formation part 8, and then, a decorative grommet 9 is put on the upper side so as to be sewn 10 and fixed integrally.
