PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide support securely connectable without shaking to a mounting hole in a human head model for hairdressing and haircutting, even if the mounting hole is tapered to decrease in diameter at its depth. SOLUTION: A support shaft 4 which fits into the mounting hole 3 in the human head model 2 comprises a pair of vertically split sections 10, 11 opened apart and securely connected to the human head model. In that case, the pair of sections are opened apart in such a manner that a rear end 4b opens with a front end 4a serving as a fulcrum. In particular, the pair of sections are normally spring-energized in the closing direction and are pushed apart by a wing nut 25 threadably engaged with one of the sections. The pair of sections are openably and closably interconnected by a connecting screw 13 radially passing therethrough, and a projection 22 and a recess 23 complementary to each other are provided on their respective opposite surfaces.
