PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely execute the insertion and recovery of a card and the reading and writing of recorded data by opening the front part of a card holding means on a prescribed position near a card inserting/ejecting port and closing the front part other than the prescribed position. SOLUTION: A card 10 is entered by the forward rotation of a pair of rollers 12, 13 arranged on the inside of the card inserting/ejecting port 9 and put on a tray 11. The tray 11 is provided with a front clamper 17 and a rear clamper 18 arranged in the carrying direction of the card 10 and moved between a card reading position and a card recovering position from the port 9 by the rotation of a roller 31. The front and rear clampers 17, 18 are opened/closed correspondingly to the position of the tray 11 on a carrier. Namely when the tray 11 is moved to the side of the port 9, the lower part 17a of the clamper 17 is abutted upon a fixed part 20 and rotated against a spring 19 to open the front part of the tray 11. When the tray 11 is separated from the port 9 side, the front part of the tray 11 is closed by the spring 19. |
