摘要 A method for power supply for an induction heater using zero voltage switching are provided to reduce impact of a switch by decreasing the surge current of provided power rapidly. A power supply device for an induction heater(600) supplies the 3-phase power to the induction heater by receiving the 3-phase power. The power supply device for the induction heater further includes a transformation unit(200), a phase detecting unit(300), a control unit(700), a switching unit(400), and an adjustment unit(500). The transformation unit receives the 3-phase power and transforms the 3-phase power into high voltage and low voltage respectively. The phase detecting unit detects each phase of the high voltage and low voltage of the 3-phase power. The switching unit switches on the high voltage or the low voltage among the 3-phase power from the transformation unit according to the control of the control unit to output the switched result. The adjustment unit adjusts the phase and power factor of the switched high voltage or low voltage to provide the voltage with the adjusted phase and power factor to the induction heater.
