PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give pink and to enhance the corrosion resistance and fluidity (castability) by allowing the alloy to have a specified compsn. contg. Ag and Cu and moreover adding specified amounts of Pd, Au and In thereto. SOLUTION: This silver alloy contains, by weight, 40 to 55% Ag and 40 to 50% Cu, and moreover, 1 to 5% Pd, 1 to 3% Au and 0.5 to 1.5% In are added thereto. In each element, by Cu, Pd and Au, its corrosion resistance is enhanced, and pink which commands a high price can be obtd. Moreover, by In, its castability is improved. The silver alloy contg. these componential elements in the proper ranges is cast by a high frequency melting furnace to form into an ingot, which is subjected to plastic working to form into a material for lostwax process casting. In the case a finger ring is cast by a lostwax method using this material, and the cast surface is ground, the ring having a tint of pink and a color tone which has heretofore not been obtd. can be obtd.
