Structure of rotor of alternator to give better cooling of magnets positioned to suppress leakage flux

The rotor has magnets (30) to suppress the leakage of flux between the lateral face of magnetic poles (23,24). Metal retainers (40) cover the magnets and radiate heat transmitted to the poles during power generation. This increases the quantity of heat radiated toward the peripheral parts of the magnets, greatly improving the cooling of the magnets.
