An OFDM receiver generates a synchronizing pulse for specifying a fast Fourier transform window by examining an output from a correlator, in order to find out a mostly-correlated sub-intervals between samples of symbol separated depending on the length of an effective part of a symbol. A synchronizing pulse is generated between these sub-intervals (102). Only when the current error is significant and sustainable, a synchronizing pulse timing is adjusted. A signal expressing an adjustment amount is used to determine a phase rotation applied to an output from an FFT circuit.
|
